The rate associated with any plan with minutes included ("buckets" of minutes) only applies to calls from within the U.S. lower 48 states. These lower 48, plus Hawaii, Alaska, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and other nearby island groups make up what is known as the "North American Dial Plan"(NADP). The only inbound calls you will receive on your Toll-Free Number will come from within the NADP. A few locations within that area have special per minute rates, as follows: Hawaii, Alaska, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico per minute rates may be as high as 25¢ per minute Canada per minute rates may be as high as 18¢ per minute The charge for any Inbound calling coming from the other island groups in the NADP will be 49¢ per minute.
